OUR PROGRAMMES AND SERVICES

Organic to The Forge, our programmes will focus on improving the flexibility, mobility and functional strength of the individual. With a strong focus on teaching, our classes are deliberately kept small and focus. These classes are meant to empower the student to take control of their own fitness, their body, and their own well-being. At The Forge, we provide opportunities for coaches and trainers to rent and use our facilities. Mobility Conditioning (Group Class)

Done in a teaching format, the class empowers the individual to improve on their mobility, flexibility, motor control and movement efficiency. The aim of the class is to empower the student to be flexible, mobile and physically liberated. Conducted in a group format, the maximum students class size is capped at 15 to ensure each student is given sufficient attention to improve and learn. Each class will consist of stretching, wrist preparation, shoulder mobility as well as movement control exercises – all of which are deliberately chosen to condition and mobilise the student. The classes are also scalable to the fitness level of the student. To experience and understand the full breadth of our teachings, students are expected to attend classes 3 times a week, with each class having a separate focus and topic. Olympic Weightlifting (Group Class)

The programme aims to train the individual in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, with an emphasis on the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. The programme will be conducted in a class format, with the maximum number of student capped at 10, with 3 training session each week. Each class will last 1.5hours, and will consist of systemic stretching before proceeding with the Olympic lifts, or variants of the lifts. Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting

The programme will be conducted in a seminar format over 2 back-to-back Sundays each month. Each seminar will last 2 hours, and will aim to teach the fundamentals of the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. The seminars are introductory. Should the individual prefer a more detailed training approach, he could either opt for:

(a) Personal Coaching Sessions or

(b) Olympic Weightlifting (Group Class)

Barbell Classics
Get Lean and Strong while learning the classical barbell movements. The classical barbell movements form the foundation of strength and conditioning. They promote the creation of quality and functional muscles, alongside the increase in strength. With a proper programme in place, they also assist the individual in getting lean. The “Barbell Classics” series of classes will run for twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes are conducted in a group setting, with a maximum of 10 pax per class. Each class will last for 1.0hr, and graduated programmes will be present to accommodate students of varying fitness levels.
